Hi UASB!

This week Monroe and I are meeting to determine the teams for next semester, and I'm curious for your thoughts on where you would like to go from here. Do you think there should be 1 team? 2 teams? Will you be working primarily at the wastewater plant next semester or will you need space in the lab too? And if you do work at the wastewater plant do you have a plan to get there?

Hi Ian,

  • UASB decided we should have 1 team next semester; we all agreed the two seperate teams last semester didn't really work. We were thinking around 5 members
  • While a lot of the work will be done at the wastewater plant, UASB will most likely still need some space in the lab to fabricate things prior to bringing it to the plant. We have been using the area where Steel Bridge works, but we aren't sure if it'll still be available. I know Monroe yesterday brought up to us a few ideas for alternate spaces. I doubt the team will need a lab bench.
  • UASB have zero plans on how to get to the plant. Egidio has been working a lot with us and has driven us to the plant, but we aren't sure how much time he'll have in the fall to work with UASB.

Great thanks Cara! When you all finish (this Friday I assume) can you make a list of action items for the team next semester to continue on with? We can also look into other forms of transport, if no one on the team has a car maybe we could look into borrowing one from Cornell.
