TopSongsAndRelatedArtists

This project uses the Spotify API to return a given artist's top songs and related artists.

Installation

1. Requirements:

• Python 3.10
• pip
• Spotify Developer Account

2. Install

• Install needed packages with pip install python-dotenv and pip install requests
• Make a Spotify Developer Account, go to "Dashboard", hit "Create app", and collect the Client ID and Client Secret
• In the .env file, replace "ENTER_CLIENT_ID" with the Client ID and "ENTER_CLIENT_SECRET" with the Client Secret

Running Program

• Hit run on main.py
• Enter an artist
• Program will return that artist's top 10 songs and the top 20 related artists.
