Hi @ktn001 , the discovery relies on zeroconf that needs working multicast. I don't know Proxmox very well, but is there maybe some routing into the VM? Because multicast packets are not routed by routers. For instance if you would use docker, the normal network would not work, you need to configure the host network into the container. Maybe it's something similar here? |

Hello,
I use the devolo_pcl_api module in a plugin for the home automation software “jeedom” (https://jeedom.com).
One of my users had configured this plugin in his jeedom instance installed in a VM hosted in a Synology and everything worked fine.
He has now reinstalled his Jeedom instance in a proxmox VM. In this configuration, the function
await devolo_plc_api.network.async_discover_network()
returns an empty list. I've checked that the Proxmox VM is in the same subnet as the Devolo devices.Does anyone have any idea why discover isn't working in the instance installed in a proxmox VM?
Thanks a lot!
